A selection of light choral music to delight the senses on a Summer's evening.
We will be getting "In the Mood" with a mix of jazz pianist and composer George Shearing's settings of Shakespeare's Songs and Sonnets. Added into the programme will be songs by Gershwin, Cole-Porter and friends.
Brings chairs, rugs and picnics to enjoy our events at Piddlehinton (Monday 27th June) and at Borough Gardens, Dorchester (Saturday 2nd July).
If the weather is not kind to us we will retreat to the church at Piddlehinton that same night(27th) but we will postpone the concert at Borough Gardens until Monday 4th July, if necessary.
We will be taking up bucket collections for a Disasters Emergency Committee charity supporting Ukraine.
