Lily has been involved in music for much of her life, playing both the clarinet and taking singing lessons with Jon Valender.
She performed as young Fiona in the West End tour of Shred and earlier this year she sang alongside young professional singers with Cameratina Opera which is directed by Roderick Williams.
In 2024 she will sing with Destination Opera at their production in Sherborne Abbey.
As well as taking various leading roles in local youth theatre productions, she also performs with the Thomas Hardye Singers.
Lily is currently studying for her A levels at Thomas Hardye Sixth Form and she hopes to pursue a career in performing arts.
Stefan is a young bass-baritone, pursuing a career in singing. Having grown up in Dorchester, he attended The Thomas Hardye School and discovered his singing voice during Sixth Form.
As a previous choral scholar of Dorchester Choral Society, he performed the role of Pilate in St. John Passion, the baritone solos in Derek Bourgeois’ Jabberwocky and Gabriel Fauré’s Requiem.
Stefan is grateful to DCS Director of Music Colin Howard for his mentorship when learning these roles.
Stefan is studying the voice avidly through self-tuition, and is particularly inspired by the likes of Cesare Siepi and George London.
He is eager to share his enthusiasm for the voice through his solo performance in Schütz’s Christmas Story.
